Teachers Decide To Work For Free After Budget Cuts Leave Pennsylvania School District Without Funds For Salaries

This is absolutely outrageous that the teachers were forced into accepting this situation. This will be a disaster. How will they pay their bills, feed their families? That Governor knew that the teachers would do this out of the kindness of their heart, then he is assuming some private non-profits will feel sorry and donate money to the district, therefore, having an argument that government really does not need to fund schools. Makes me sick! Teachers are professionals and not volunteers. Children deserve a well-funded public education system.
